After graduating from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, Rob began working alongside his sister documenting life's most celebrated events. Over the years, Rob developed his own illustrative and emotive photography style. His 'fly on the wall' approach allows him to document moments undetected. Together, we have the perfect blend of femininity and strength in our wedding documentation.
With just 2 years between us, Rob has been my best friend since (almost) the beginning of time. While shooting we have our own secret language, often times knowing what the other is thinking without ever saying a word. He's cool, calm, and collected which provides the perfect balance for his charismatic, always on the go older sister. My first real life dream came true when I was a 7 year old little girl who wanted a baby sister. From the moment she was born, she was my little doll. Some of my fondest childhood memories are dressing her up and taking Polaroids of her in each outfit. Since I was a little girl I’ve been fascinated with making people feel beautiful and look amazing in front a camera. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of dressing up my baby sister & photographing her with the family polaroid camera. I guess there isn’t a whole lot that has really changed since then. I am eternally grateful for the bond I share with my siblings, Rob and Linz. I’m the oldest, I guess you can say natural born boss. My brother just a couple of years younger, always by my side, my confidant, the real artist in the family. My baby sister came after I hoped and dreamed and wished for her many times, I was 7, she has been my baby and my muse ever since. Maybe I dreamed for this too! Working with my siblings.
My business started close to 20 years ago, and while my work has progresses a lot since then , the one thing that holds true is my love for photographing people. I'm addicted to what I do. I love finding the beauty in my subjects and capturing that essence that only they can behold. My portfolio is the culmination of years of practice, self-criticism, and pure dedication to my art. We are constantly evolving. Every artist I meet and project I photograph takes my career to a place it's never been. I’m always learning. Always practicing. Always exploring. I feel so lucky and so grateful that my art has led me to my ever evolving career. I might not always know where I'm going, but the thrill I get from it all will always get me there. xoxo,Jen
